EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Pamela R. Short is the Executive Director of Kenny's Kouncil.  It is her desire to educate, empower, and equip people with mental health issues with the resources needed to live a productive life. She is a nurse educator, having obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Auburn University in 2018 and her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Auburn University in 1993.

She began her nursing career in Selma, AL in the city's intensive care unit. Her work expanded to Camden, AL where she provided Community Health/Home Health Nursing to patients living in rural areas.

Pamela has also taught courses in Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide at Wallace Community College in Selma, then progressed to Licensed Practical Nursing and Associate Degree Nursing.

As a nurse educator, she enjoys teaching students how to deliver care in a professional, caring manner, which are two essential components of nursing.
